Huxley Associates, in partnership with eni international are looking for a Senior Piping Engineer to join their team in Milan.
This individual will act as the piping specialist for project development and coordination of internal/external personnel during projects.
The main responsibilities include:
- Responsible for the design, verification and concept of upstream oil and gas facilities.- Revision of technical documentation prepares by outsourced subcontractors.- Project technical file management.- organisation and preparation of piping engineering activities for feasibility studies, basic design, FEED and detail design.- Verification and studies regarding piping, attaining to good engineering practise in order to optimise design in terms of cost, safety and simplicity of execution of works.
The ideal candidate profile is as follows:
- A qualified Engineer with 5 years experience or a high school graduate with 10 years experience within onshore/offshore energy projects.- Understanding of Italian technical regulations and other important International standards.- Knowledge of P & ID mechanisation.- Understanding of piping class and the criteria required to prepare MTOs, line lists etc.- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and 2D AutoCAD and 3D Modelling (PDS, PDMS).- Knowlefdge of the most common tools for piping and layout design.
