Huxley Associates, in partnership with Eni International are looking for Rigid Riser and Pipeline Engineers to be based in a number of International locations including Milan and the UK
The main purpose of the role is to review and approve the specification and design of Subsea Systems focusing on rigid riser/pipeline and Subsea Structures fabrication, installation and Pre-Commissioning. Ensuring that it meets project objectives, industry standards and best practice for safety, reliability and cost.
Additional responsibilites are as follows:
- To review installation contractor plans and schedules to ensure alignment with project objectives, and to monitor contractor performance against plan.- To supervise Rigid riser, pipeline and Subsea Structures installation activities, monitoring contractorperformance, assuring the application of all the relevant HSEQ and QA procedures, and providing technical support as required.- Overall technical integrity of rigid riser/pipeline systems and subsea structures installation design premises, Installation design, Pre-Commissioning- Underwater subsea system installation compliance with international standards, company guidelines and engineering best practices- Accuracy of subsea system installation cost and schedule estimates
Key Activities:
- Defining design premises of rigid riser/pipeline systliDefining design premises of subsea system installation and Pre-Commissioning- Supervising subcontracted design- ITT bid technical evaluation- Planning, reviewing and following-up systems purchasing, construction, installation and commissioning- Supporting Project Development Team identifying and planning installation activities Preparation of detailed schedule for specific offshore activities- Verification of contractors installation plan issuance and plan review- Monitoring installation activities controlling that their execution is in line with project plans and highlighting any possible deviations suggesting possible solutions- Verifying installation works compliance with project specifications, company procedures (including HSEQ)- Preparation of daily installation reports- Contractors daily progress report review and acceptance- Interfacing with the installation contractor during offshore operations
The ideal candidate must be degree educated with 4 years of experience in the Oil and Gas industry and 3 years of offshore (conventional and deepwater) supervision experience or offshore field engineering.
