The Multimedia Reporter is a high energy, creative journalist that uses images and other content to tell significant stories and ignite audience engagement. The Multimedia Reporter supports the team of domestic and overseas content creators by repackaging and finalizing content to present on social media platforms to engage target audiences.
The primary duties and responsibilities of the Multimedia Reporter include, but are not limited to:
Present written, video, audio, and alternative content creatively to produce high quality, relevant stories to stimulate platform engagement.
Edit content, including but not limited to reports, photographs, features and interviews, ensuring compliance with MBN’s Journalistic Code of Ethics.
Continually examine and propose strategies to increase engagement and work with digital teams to design and launch new products, including blogs and forums.
Develop editorial and production formats, workflow for live on-line content, and use digital platforms to identify significant trends.
Help define and maintain character of platforms and work with the social media team on daily postings.
